What SteadyTogether Is
SteadyTogether is a support and organization app for people navigating movement disorders and caregiving. It includes community spaces, saved posts, private care tools, check-ins, appointment preparation, and related beta features.
SteadyTogether is not a medical device, healthcare provider, emergency service, or substitute for professional care.
Not Medical Advice
SteadyTogether does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, emergency support, or clinical recommendations. Content in the app, including community posts, resources, check-ins, appointment prep, and clinical trial search helpers, is for support, education, and organization only.
Always talk with a qualified care professional about medical decisions. If you may be experiencing an emergency, contact local emergency services immediately.
Beta Software
SteadyTogether is currently in beta. Features may change, break, disappear, or work differently than expected. We may update, limit, pause, or remove beta features as we improve the product, protect users, or manage safety concerns.
Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your account login information secure. You may not use someone else's account without permission. You should contact support if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
Community Rules
When using community features, you agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, shame, or target other users
- Post hate, abuse, spam, scams, or misleading content
- Share another person's private information
- Present yourself as a clinician or expert if you are not one
- Provide medical instructions as if they are professional advice
- Encourage unsafe behavior or discourage appropriate medical care
- Use the app for emergencies or crisis response
- Try to bypass moderation, reporting, blocking, or security features
Community posts and replies may be visible to other users. Do not post information you would not want visible in a community space.
User Content
You are responsible for the posts, replies, notes, feedback, and other content you create in SteadyTogether. You keep ownership of your content, but you give SteadyTogether permission to store, display, process, moderate, and use it as needed to operate and improve the app.
We may remove, limit, hide, or review content if we believe it violates these terms, creates safety risk, affects product integrity, or is required by law.
Private Care Tools
Private care tools are intended for personal organization. They are not a medical record, medical device, clinician review tool, or emergency system. Do not rely on SteadyTogether as the only place you store critical care information.
Reporting And Blocking
The app includes reporting and blocking tools. We may review reports and take action when needed, including hiding content, limiting accounts, or preserving information for safety, security, or legal reasons.
Future Features
Future AI features, research opportunities, caregiver sharing, premium tools, or care-circle access may require separate consent or additional terms. These features are not automatic.
Premium Features
If premium features are introduced later, basic community access, reporting, blocking, privacy controls, and core safety features should remain available without payment. Premium features should focus on organization, summaries, caregiver tools, insights, and convenience.
Acceptable Use And Security
You may not misuse the app, attempt to access data you do not own, interfere with app security, scrape the service, reverse engineer the app, or use the app in ways that harm users, systems, or the community.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if we believe an account violates these terms, creates safety risk, misuses the app, or threatens the community or service. You may stop using the app at any time and contact support about account deletion.
Disclaimers
SteadyTogether is provided during beta on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, medically complete, or suitable for every user or situation.
Limitation Of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SteadyTogether and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses related to use of or inability to use the beta app.
Changes To These Terms
We may update these terms as the beta evolves. If changes are material, we will update the date and provide notice where appropriate.
